The work consists of Boiler Inspection, Preventative Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Services at various locations Countywide. The successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies required to perform the work as specified. Bids must be submitted electronically. The contractor is responsible for uploading the bid and ensuring that the original bid bond is received in-office by the due date. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier’s check, or a bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid price, including all additive bid items, made payable to “The County of Santa Clara.” The contractor must possess a C-4 Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting Contractor’s License issued by the Contractor’s State License Board at the time the bid is submitted.
