Question Deadline 05/14/2026 at 2:00 PM PT All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed by electronic submission to online This project involves providing abatement services for Asbestos, Lead, and PCB for Buildings K1, K2, L1, L2, L3, and L4 at Independence High School. The project also includes demolition services for the same buildings as identified in the contract documents. Contractor shall remove all non-structural walls not shown on the original construction as-built drawings, including, but not limited to wall finishes, gypsum board, wall framing, and all associated electrical and low voltage conduits and receptacles. Contractor shall disconnect, remove, and make safe all electrical wiring from the receptacle back to the building's electrical panel(s). The Contractor shall also remove all low-voltage cabling from the receptacle back to the nearest IDF room or cabinet. For all other walls shown on the original construction as-built drawings, Contractor shall remove all interior wall finishes, gypsum board, and all electrical and low voltage receptacles, cablings and conduits. The Contractor shall disconnect, remove, and make safe all electrical wiring from the receptacle back to the building's electrical panel(s). The Contractor shall also remove all low-voltage cabling from the receptacle back to the nearest IDF room or cabinet. Contractor shall remove all other room finishes and equipment, including but not limited to ceiling grids, ceiling panels (ACT and/or gypsum board), ceiling mounted devices, mechanical equipment, mechanical duct work, ceiling routed conduits, ceiling routed electrical wiring and low voltage cabling and gas connection. Contractor shall safely shut off, cap, and secure all gas penetrations. Abatement Subcontractor shall obtain temporary permit for the abatement portion of the project. The Abatement Subcontractor shall complete all the paperwork for the application and the questionnaire for the District to close out the project. All utility shutdowns required to safely secure systems shall be performed during non-instructional hours when such shutdowns affect any occupied buildings.
