The County of Orange, OC Public Works, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for Job Order Contract (JOC) for Roofing Services. Respondents must meet the minimum qualifications and requirements as set forth and be capable of providing the identified services. The County will utilize a Unit Price Book (UPB) with preset Unit Prices and has selected The Gordian Group’s Job Order Contracting Solution, which includes proprietary information management tools to be used solely for fulfilling contract obligations, including preparation and submission of Job Order Proposals, Price Proposals, and subcontractor lists. Bidders must execute Gordian’s General Terms of Use and pay a JOC System License Fee, which must be included in the Adjustment Factors. Only bidders prequalified during the first phase are invited to submit proposals for the second phase for best value JOC, awarded on the basis of best value and based on provided plans and specifications for typical work. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the County’s online bidding system; facsimile and e-mail proposals will not be accepted.
