Work is to be completed as described in the construction documents. In general, work consists of replacing finishes and other minor renovation to the interior of the building known as the former rural health clinic building. The project is scheduled to be completed in two phases. Instructions to bidders include: Up to two complete sets of bidding documents are available to each contractor on a deposit basis. The deposit for the documents is $100.00 each set or by MBI deposit, refunded upon return in good condition within ten days after the bid date, or retained if the contract is awarded. Bidders shall use complete, full-sized sets of bidding Documents in preparing Bids. The Owner and Architect do not assume responsibility for errors resulting from use of incomplete or reduced scale sets. Bidding documents are available for review online and physically at the architect's office. Bid security must be submitted in the form and amount indicated in the Instructions to Bidders with the Bid Form. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 calendar days after opening. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, any Bids not accompanied by required security or data, or any Bid that is incomplete or irregular. Refer to Section 00 2113 – Instructions to Bidders for detailed requirements on how to complete and submit Bid Forms. Bids are to be made on the Bid Forms provided and not submitted via mail to the bid opening location.
