The City of Maple Ridge is seeking to prequalify general contractors who are experienced with performing municipal civil works and qualified to manage and coordinate the work of their subcontractors for the installation of City-supplied electric vehicle (EV) chargers on City-owned property at 12067 240 Street, Maple Ridge, BC. The site involved is a newly acquired access property for the City's Engineering Operations Centre. Contractors will be required to perform the civil works for EV charger installation in accordance with the Master Municipal Construction Documents Association (MMCD) Platinum Edition 2009 and must be registered civil contractors with BC Hydro. The intent is to create a shortlist of qualified contractors who will then be invited to submit firm-priced tenders for the project. Pre-qualification requirements: General contractors must be experienced with municipal civil works, qualified to manage and coordinate subcontractors, perform works in accordance with MMCD Platinum Edition 2009, and be registered civil contractors with BC Hydro.
