The Mobile County Health Department is soliciting sealed bids for Project #2026-01 MCHD (Partial Re-roofing). Contractors are responsible for removing and replacing specified roofing components located at 251 N Bayou Street, based on the construction documents or job scope provided. Bidders must not be on the U.S. General Services Administration list of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement or Non-Procurement Programs. Bidders must attend and sign the attendance log at one of the mandatory pre-bid meetings. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check equal to five percent of the bid. A performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount and a payment bond equal to 50% of the contract amount plus a reasonable estimate of attorney's fees are required. Bidders must provide evidence of a current contractor's license from the Alabama Licensing Board for General Contractors and carry insurance coverage of no less than $1,000,000. All required documentation, including the State of Alabama Vendor Disclosure Statement, W-9, Beason-Hammond Affidavit, Certification of Insurance Liability, and any other required information, must be attached to the bid and submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid number and project title. The Mobile County Health Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any formalities, with final authority in any conflict.
