Description

Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

This project involves the construction of roadway improvements to enhance traffic flow and roadway geometry associated with the new air carrier terminal facility at Mobile International Airport (BFM). The proposed work includes: modifications to traffic flow patterns along Michigan Ave, Avenue I, and Avenue M as well as sections of roadway widening to accommodate improved turning movements and overall circulation within the existing BFM roadway network; construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Broad Street; and associated grading and embankment construction, drainage system modifications, utility adjustments and relocations, pavement marking, signage, roadway lighting and associated electrical infrastructure, and site restoration. Sealed bids should be plainly marked and will be received at the specified location until the designated time, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids received after that time will be returned unopened. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is recommended for all prospective bidders.
