Sealed bids are requested for the AASF #3 Water Filtration project in Mobile, Alabama. Certified checks or bid bonds payable to The Armory Commission of Alabama, in an amount not less than five percent of the bid (not to exceed $10,000 per project), must accompany the proposal. Completed Disclosure Statements are preferred to accompany the proposal. Performance and Payment bonds will be required at contract signing. All entities must be registered to do business in Alabama. Bidders submitting amounts exceeding $100,000 must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975. Plans and specifications are available for public inspection at the State Military Department. Official bid documents must be obtained through Seay Seay & Litchfield, P.C., with a $300 deposit per set, refundable upon return of documents in good condition within ten days of the bid date. Only official plan holders will receive addenda or project information. Prospective bidders who are not official plan holders must notify Seay Seay & Litchfield, P.C., in writing, of their intent to bid. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference at the project site. Any errors or omissions due to non-attendance will not be grounds for additional compensation.
