The United States National Poultry Research Center (USNPRC) is seeking a contractor with extensive knowledge and expertise with design and facilities operations within animal agricultural research laboratories. USNPRC is designed to contain Bio-Safety Level (BSL) -2, BSL-3, ABSL-3, and BSL-3Ag animal agricultural research. Companies associated with services for the facility shall fully understand the construction types and maintenance methods associated with these facilities. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires removal of the walk-in cooler located in B1, SB36 at 950 College Station Road, Athens, GA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to remove the entirety of the walk-in cooler and build a dividing wall between the two rooms. The contractor will do so in accordance with project requirements, drawings, and applicable codes. All work shall be performed in occupied, operational facilities and coordinated with USDA personnel to minimize disruption. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, fabrication, installation, coordination, and cleanup activities necessary to complete the scope described herein. Removal of the existing walk-in cooler located in Room B1, SB46 at the United States National Poultry Research Center. The work includes all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental services necessary to safely disconnect, dismantle, remove, and properly dispose of the walk-in cooler in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and applicable standards.
