Sealed bids are invited for contracting the Charles Barnum Elementary School Roof Replacement, State Project No. 059-0192 RR. Bids must be received as specified. A bid bond for five percent of the base bid cost is required with each proposal. The successful bidder must provide a one hundred percent Performance Bond, a one hundred percent Labor & Materials Bond, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten days of notice of bid award. Bids must be held firm for ninety days beyond the bid opening date. Compliance with minimum wage laws and local, state, and federal requirements is required. Plans and specifications are available at no cost from the specified website. Bids must contain a Contractor Prequalification Certificate and Update (Bid) Statement with the classification ROOFING as a minimum. The contract is subject to state spending allocation goals and contract compliance requirements. The Town reserves rights regarding bid acceptance or rejection. Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply.
