Description

Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 9,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Commission is requesting sealed proposals from qualified firms for the design, supply, and installation of a universally accessible, ADA-compliant playground at Mount Mission Park. The project includes the development of a playground within an approximately 100 x 90 area. The design shall incorporate existing playground equipment that will remain on site and include a combination of poured-in-place surfacing and certified playground mulch. The existing swing set will be removed and replaced with an expanded swing area featuring ADA-accessible and inclusive swings.
