Renovation of a fire / police facility in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Qualified contractors for Concrete Repair Work at the City of St. Charles Fire Station's 1 & 2. The City of St. Charles is seeking bids from qualified contractors for concrete repair and replacement work at Fire Station 1 and Fire Station 2. The project generally consists of demolition and replacement of existing concrete slabs, subgrade preparation, installation of reinforced concrete pavement, expansion joints, joint sealing, drainage grading, restoration, and associated ancillary work. Question Deadline 05/28/2026 at 3:00 PM CT : Any questions related to the IFB shall be submitted to Paul Feldmann, Purchasing Manager, at paul.feldmann@stcharlescitymo.gov. The proposal for this Contract shall be based upon the required payment by the Bidder for wages for each craft or type of workmen required to execute the Contract as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri, pursuant to Sections 290.262, RSMo 1994. A schedule of such prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri, pursuant to said statutory provisions and made a part of this Contract. Annual Wage Order #32. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check for an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid amount, payable unconditionally to the City of Saint Charles, Missouri as a guarantee that the bidder will execute a contract and furnish the required bond if the bid is accepted. Failure to submit bid bond will result in rejection of bid. Per City Code of Ordinance Section 145.020, "On all contracts for public work of any kind to be performed for the City, the cost of which is estimated to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), every Bidder entering into contract with the City for any such public work shall execute therewith and file in the office of the City Clerk a bond, with good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the City Attorney, in an amount equal to the contract price for such work and conditioned among other things for the faithful performance of the contract, the payment of any and all materials incorporated, consumed or used in connection with the construction of such work and all insurance premiums, both for compensation and for all other kinds of insurance, on the work and for all labor performed in such work, whether by subcontractor or otherwise." The City of Saint Charles reserves the right to reject any or all bids.The City reserves the right to waive any variances from original bid specifications in cases where the variances are considered to be in the best interest of the City.
