The City of St. Charles, Missouri is seeking bids from qualified HVAC Contractors to replace failed mechanical equipment serving the Fleet Supervisor Office, Break Room, and the Rest Rooms at the Public Works Facility (PWF) Fleet Garage. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment to complete the work. Project duration is eight weeks from Notice to Proceed. Remove and legally dispose of the existing Energy Recovery Unit (ERU) and nonoperational condensing unit. 2. Furnish and install one (1) single-stage, 2-ton heat pump condensing unit matched to a new Fan Coil Unit (FCU). 3. Remove existing FCU and install one (1) replacement FCU configured to draw outside air via the existing ERU ductwork connection. 4. Furnish and install one (1) exhaust fan utilizing existing ERU exhaust ductwork, including disconnects, controls, and vibration isolation. 5. Provide all required duct transitions, grilles, filters, insulation, supports, and condensate drains to integrate new equipment with existing duct systems. 6. Provide controls, including thermostat(s) and interlocks between the heat pump system and exhaust fan. 7. Perform refrigerant evacuation and charging, leak testing, system startup, commissioning, air balancing, and provide one (1) day of operator training. 8. Provide project deliverables including: - As-built drawings (PDF format) - Startup and commissioning reports - Air balancing report - Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals - Warranty documentation C.
