The Glenwood Park neighborhood was originally designed and built in the early 1980's and the roadways, curb/gutter and sidewalks are all generally failing and need to be replaced. The neighborhood lacks adequate biking and pedestrian connectivity between Brush Creek Mountain Park, Sullivan Park and the multi-use paths at Midland Ave/Mt Sopris Dr and the Conservancy Trail at the end of Mountain Dr. The neighborhood generally lacks proper drainage and stormwater treatment which will need to be addressed. The City has conducted an existing conditions survey for the area and has developed a conceptual design to be used as a starting point for the consultant. Exhibit A shows the concept that the City envisions. The consultant will be responsible for performing all geotechnical investigations, hydrologic and hydraulic investigations and analysis, calculating pavement loading/designs, and any additional survey work for developing construction estimates and civil bid documents.
