Sealed proposals are invited for the application of a single asphalt seal coat covering 153,392 square yards, in place. The Township will provide the aggregate for the project. Proposals must use the forms provided by the municipality. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. The requirement for other municipal types is at the municipality’s discretion. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract within 20 days after award. The municipality may reject any or all proposals. Liquidated damages are set at $975.00 per calendar day.
