Renovation of a military facility in Newport, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Renovation work is required for Room 136 in Building 68 and includes all construction activities necessary to complete the space in accordance with the attached specifications and Drawing No. 25-031. The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, quality control, and transportation necessary to perform the renovation as a complete, finished construction effort. Work shall be executed on a firm-fixed-price, completion basis and must comply with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 safety requirements, applicable OSHA standards, and the attached Davis-Bacon Wage Determination. Construction submittals required to support the renovation are included as part of the overall work effort and are not separately priced. The project is a new requirement with a construction completion period of 120 calendar days from the date of contract award. Location: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Building 68, 1176 Howell Street, Newport, RI 02841. Magnitude per FAR 36.204: Between $100,000 and $250,000.
