Site work for a water / sewer project in Kouts, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of installation of curb and gutter catchments, installation of storm sewer and manholes, and connection to the existing storm sewer. Related work will involve asphalt patching of the roadway and restoration of disturbed areas. Instructions to bidders: Bids will only be accepted from Plan Holders of Record. Copies of Contract Documents and Plans may be obtained at the office of Lawson-Fisher Associates P.C. at a non-refundable cost. A certified check or satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid must be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price before commencing work. A Maintenance Bond in an amount of 10% for a period of three years from the date of project completion will also be required. Each bidder must complete the Bid Form included with these documents. For all bids $150,000 or greater, a "Responsible & Responsive Bidder - Contractor Affidavit of Compliance" must be submitted. The right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities is reserved. No bid or bid security may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for at least sixty (60) days.
