Site work for a water / sewer project in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of watermain, sanitary sewer, and street grading. Major estimated quantities include: 310 CY of common excavation, 160 CY of common embankment, 351 LF of 6" PVC watermain, 360 LF of 8" PVC sanitary sewer, and 200 CY of aggregate surfacing (CV) Class 5. Bids will only be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com, and bidders are required to download project bidding documents from QuestCDN to be added to the Planholders List and to access vBid online bidding for the submittal of bids. Bidders will be charged a non-refundable fee of $42.00 to submit a bid electronically. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent of the full bid amount, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least thirty days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract. Complete instructions for filing bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Question Deadline 05/27/2026 All questions regarding the contract documents must be received in writing or by email on or before seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Award is subject to final approval.
