Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Request for Information for PRESTO Device Refresh. Metrolinx Payments (PRESTO) is preparing to re-procure approximately 20,000 fare payment and sales devices across 11 transit agencies in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and Ottawa. Device vendors will be required to integrate with the new Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS) via published REST APIs and PRESTO’s payment acquirer. Device vendors will also need to work with PRESTO’s System Integrator (SIS) and Service Integration and Management (SIAM) vendor. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using Metrolinx MERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Proponents shall adhere to the Proposal Submission Requirements as identified within the tender document. Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.metrolinx.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
