The Rural Municipality of Springfield is seeking unit price quotations for the supply, placement, compaction, and finishing of hot-mix asphalt paving and asphalt patching on an as-required basis for the 2026 construction season. Work may include hot-mix asphalt paving, asphalt patching, pothole repairs, trench patches, cross-ditching repairs, pavement failure repairs, driveway and approach tie-ins, roadside edge repairs, curb edge repairs, saw cutting, tack coat, milling or asphalt removal, traffic control, and related cleanup and restoration. Work will only proceed when authorized by written Work Order issued by the Owner or Contract Administrator. Quantities are not guaranteed. Payment will be based on actual quantities completed, measured, and accepted at the submitted unit prices. The Owner currently anticipates paving approximately one mile of Deacon Road and approximately 300 metres of another roadway during the 2026 construction season. Final locations, limits, quantities, and timing will be confirmed by written Work Order. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
