Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the 2026 Bridge Replacement Project in Atwater Township and City of Streetsboro, Portage County. Bidders are required to submit only one proposal, either electronically via www.bidexpress.com or in paper form to the Portage County Engineer's Office at 5000 Newton Falls Road, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Specifications and bidding forms are available from www.bidexpress.com and are also on file at the Portage County Engineer's Office, where they may be purchased at a non-refundable cost, with separate shipping charges. No responsibility is assumed for documents received late. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond issued by a surety licensed in Ohio. Each proposal must include the full name of the submitting party or parties and all interested persons. Bidders must also submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The project must be completed no later than 09/04/2026 for Seasons Road Bridge No. 262 and 05/14/2027 for Waterloo Road Bridge No. 68. Contractor compliance with Ohio equal employment opportunity requirements is required. All contractors and subcontractors will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. The engineer’s estimate of cost is $562,157.00. The Portage County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
