Maintenance dredging services are anticipated for removal of shoal material from the Federal navigation channel and Port Everglades berthing areas. Work will include dredging with up to two feet of allowable overdepth and disposal of dredged material at the Port Everglades Ocean Dredge Material Disposal Site. The project will be divided into a Base requirement for Federal work and an Option A for non-Federal work. Additional associated activities include construction vibration monitoring, endangered species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, maintenance of traffic, and all other work necessary to support dredging operations. The effort is planned as a firm fixed-price contract with an estimated period of performance of 125 calendar days, including mobilization and demobilization, and requires the use of Coast Guard-certified vessels. The Target Price Range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
