The scope of work includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor for sewer rehabilitation services for the City's Public Works Department. The work consists of pipe cleaning, pre- and post-rehabilitation closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection, sewer gravity main and lateral rehabilitation using cured-in-place pipe lining, sealing of service connections through chemical grout injection, point repairs, lateral connection lining, manhole rehabilitation, and associated work. This covers all related services to repair sewer system components for the citywide gravity sewer system in sewer basins serving pump stations to be determined per individual Task Orders. Multiple contractors will be selected to provide Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) CCTV and Repair Services on an as-needed basis, based upon Task Orders issued by the City. The City reserves the right to add contractors or request voluntary price reductions at any time. Instructions to bidders include possessing appropriate licenses (Underground Utility and Excavation License, Broward County Primary Pipeline License, Certified General Contractors License, or any other legally permissible State or County licenses), becoming familiar with the City's requirements and systems before submitting a bid, and attending a pre-bid meeting (attendance is strongly suggested but not mandatory). Payment on the contract will be made via Visa or MasterCard. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the City's location prior to bid submission, and no changes in price or conditions will be allowed due to ignorance of work requirements.
