Monroe Public School District is seeking bids for a new fire and intrusion alarm system with integration into their existing access control system. The project scope includes replacing the existing intrusion alarm system; vendors should assume that no components or wiring from the current system are usable. Bids are accepted for both wired and wireless systems, lease or purchase options for equipment, and 24/7 monitoring service. The system must integrate with the Monitor Cast Security platform for door access control, allowing monitoring, arm/disarm functionality, and possible user management. Bids for a DMP XR150 Network intrusion alarm system or comparable systems are requested, including ongoing support and warranty options. Vendors should provide detailed, itemized project costs, a minimum of two references for similar projects, and options for add-ons such as boiler, cooler, chiller temperatures, fire and water sensors, and server room temperature monitoring. All required permits, licenses, inspections, and associated costs must be handled by the contractor. Installation, removal of old wiring, labor, parts, cabling, and necessary equipment must be included in the total bid cost. Instructions to bidders include submitting two sealed physical copies of the bid, clearly marked, to the Monroe Public Schools Administration Building by the specified deadline. Any deviations from specifications must be noted. Bids must be binding for ninety days and are subject to approval by the MPS Board of Education. Vendors are responsible for monitoring posted addenda and are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting/site walkthrough. The vendor must include estimated delivery dates and a detailed cost breakdown in the bid.
