TAP-5329 (019) FHWA-534 DATA 24038 This project consists of the demolition of existing concrete sidewalk, construction of concrete sidewalk, concrete entrances, street lighting system, and associated items. Separate sealed bids will be received electronically online for the West Main Street Pedestrian Improvements for the Town of Wise, Virginia, which includes demolition and construction as noted above. Bids must be accompanied by bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia prior to the execution of the Agreement and must also be a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Pre-Qualified Contractor. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to submit bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it appears in its best interest to do so.
