Demolition, site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Wise, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of the demolition of existing concrete sidewalk, construction of concrete sidewalk, concrete entrances, street lighting system, and associated items. Separate sealed bids will be received electronically online for the West Main Street Pedestrian Improvements for the Town of Wise, Virginia, which includes demolition and construction as noted above. Bids must be accompanied by bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia prior to the execution of the Agreement and must also be a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Pre-Qualified Contractor. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to submit bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it appears in its best interest to do so. The contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s). The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia and will ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises are afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for award.
