Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Spokane, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project shall generally consist of 1. Obtain and pay for all trade specific permits and fees (these costs should be included in bid price) 2. Obtain and pay for the City of Spokane Building permits, if applicable (this cost to be reimbursed by STA with no markup and not included in bid price) 3. Schedule and coordinate all required inspections and certifications 4. Establish and maintain jobsite safety and security measures to include bu not be limited to traffic control, securing work areas, signage, work lighting, dust control, etc. 5. Perform and coordinate thorough public and private utility and irrigation line locates. 6. Provision of temporary traffic control. 7. Coordination and scheduling with utility providers. 8. Site work for demolition, grading and placement of sidewalk and reinforced concrete foundations. 9. Site work for demolition, grading and placement of HMA paving. 10. Installation and erection of Owner furnished bus stop amenities. 11. Provision and installation of electrical meter and data communications cabinets 12. Demolition, excavation, and trenching for the installation of electrical systems and provision of conduit and power to bus stop amenities. Coordination with Avista for power service. 13. Identification and remediation of adjacent irrigation and landscaping per plan and specification. 14. Installation of signage posts 15. Record all "as-built" information for delivery to Owner as required for final closeout. 16. All other work as shown and specified in the associated plans and specifications. This project includes multiple sites in the West Central neighborhood of the City of Spokane. Sealed bids will be accepted for the following project: 2025-11128 Route 21 Improvements. Project Summary: This public works project consists of the construction of sidewalk improvements, reinforced concrete foundations, electrical systems, pavement, and installation and erection of bus stop amenities. Use of Minority and Women's Business Enterprise (MWBE) contractors and suppliers is encouraged, but not mandatory.
