Site work and paving for a road / highway in Edgmont Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project generally involves pavement milling, base course repairs, and pavement resurfacing on Beverly Lane, Brighton Way, Canter Drive, Carnoustie Way, Charter Oak Drive, and Pheasant Lane. All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates and Pennsylvania Act 127 (Public Works Employment Verification Act) requirements are applicable. The selected bidder must provide a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Workmen's Compensation Insurance Certification. Contract time for substantial completion is 60 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Escalator Clause is applicable per PennDOT Pub. 408. Roads are to be kept open to traffic and vehicle access to all driveways must be maintained. The Township reserves the right to accept and award any bids in whole or in part or in any combination and/or reject any and all bids or parts thereof, as deemed to be in the Township's best interest.
