The City of Toledo Department of Public Services and Facility Operations is soliciting bids to make upgrades to the men's and women's restrooms at Eleanor Kahle Senior Center, including proper ADA accommodations. Scope of Work - Men and Women Restrooms: The selected contractor must be an experienced commercial contractor with ability to assess and recommend finished details of proposed work. A registered engineer or architect must have ability to assess and design proposed improvements to meet applicable building code requirements. Stamped shop drawings must provide necessary permit information related to electrical, plumbing, structural design loads and other building code information. Install new FRP panel to all wall surfaces Materials and color shall be selected by owner per samples submitted by contractor. Install new partitions, toilets, sink, sink fixture, hand dryers. All toilets, hand dryers, sinks and spacing of partition walls shall meet current ADA requirements. Contractor shall make all necessary utility, plumbing and spacing adjustments to accommodate ADA requirements Door pulls on both sides of handicap stall doors Install all new toilets in all stalls to meet ADA requirements of seat height between 17-19 inches Lower urinal in men's restroom to proper ADA height of 17 inches to rim Install new partition walls so that urinal stall has proper ADA space Replace all fixtures including sinks Exposed piping under sinks shall have proper insulation installed
