Demolition and site work for an industrial development in Moberly, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a industrial development; and for site work for a industrial development.

Sealed bids are requested from qualified contractors for the demolition and/or asbestos removal of a commercial facility. The demolition and asbestos removal are being bid together. The demolition contractor must be licensed for asbestos removal or must partner with a licensed asbestos contractor. Asbestos inspection has already been completed and the report is available to bidders. After asbestos is removed by a licensed contractor, demolition of the structure is to be completed. All bids must include a bid guarantee equal to 5% of the bid amount, either as a bid bond or certified check, and must include the bidder’s OSHA 10-hour safety certification and E-Verify compliance documentation. Only contractors attending the mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk through will have their bids accepted. Additional requirements may include compliance with Davis Bacon and/or State Prevailing wage rates for asbestos abatement if the contract is over $2,000, Section 3-DBE, Segregated Facility, Section 109, Executive Order 11246, OSHA 10-hour construction safety, and E-Verify documentation. The City of Moberly reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 90 days after opening. Minority and women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids.
