Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for the construction of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project will consist of the design and construction effort needed for the demolition and replacement of the existing parking garage at Upstate Community Hospital. This will include demolition of the parking garage structure, disconnection of garage pedestrian access to various Community Hospital buildings, associated architectural changes within these buildings to disconnect from the parking garage, and various utility relocation. The project will also include design for a surface parking lot on the land where the parking garage currently sits, and the design and construction of a new 800 spot parking garage at the existing surface lot adjacent to the current parking garage slated for removal.
