A. The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the City. B. Prior to construction, the Contractor shall verify existing utilities identified on the Drawings and locate other potential utilities in their working area that may not be shown on the Drawings. The utility verifications consist of excavation to verify tie-in points and to locate potential conflicts that may affect the work as shown on the Drawings. The Contractor shall be responsible for the coordination of this work with the associated utility owners and permitting agencies having jurisdiction over the specific locations to be verified. The Design Engineer of record for this project is the firm Tetra Tech and their estimate for Phase II of this project is: $2,568,500. The City of North Miami (City) is hereby soliciting bids from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and expertise for the proposed septic-to-sanitary sewer installation of approximately forty-three (43) residential properties throughout the City, in accordance with the plans and specifications for this project.
