Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Finley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bids are invited for the West Bethlehem and West Finley Street Reconstruction Project Nos. CD 25-18 & CD 25-19. Bid documents are available electronically at no charge or as a hard copy for a non-refundable payment. Only bid documents received from Harshman CE Group, LLC will be accepted. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, in a form permitted under contract documents. SBE, MBE, WBE, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to bid. Federal requirements apply, including Prevailing Wage Rates, Civil Rights, EO 11246, EO 11625, Affirmative Action, Section 3, Federal Public Works, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and CDBG provisions. Contractors must not discriminate in employment. Section 3 ensures employment and economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance are directed to low and very low-income persons, particularly HUD housing assistance recipients. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington may reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) days for review and bidder qualification checks. Contractors must be able to initiate work within thirty (30) days of contract execution and achieve successful completion within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
