The purpose is to provide and install: two standard pyramids 7'-0" x 7'-0" OCD flat (33-1/3° slope), one standard pyramid 10'-0" x 10'-0" OCD flat (33-1/3° slope), three standard pyramids 14'-0" x 14'-0" OCD flat (33-1/3° slope), and two custom pyramids 17'-4" x 17'-4" OCD flat (33-1/3° slope). The skylights shall include 2 3/4" Kalwall translucent panels, 12" x 24" Shoji grid pattern, .070" Crystal face sheet & .045 White interior sheet, .23TB "U" factor, all exposed aluminum to be premium color (Coro Blue #48-C) Kalwall Corrosion Resistant Finish. Roofs are designed for 35 PSF live load, 0 PSF snow load, 25 PSF (ASD) wind load, and 0 PSF drift load with L/60 deflection. Provo City School District (the District) is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to furnish and install custom pyramid skylights at Amelia Earhart Elementary. The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a contractor capable of completing the work in accordance with the project specifications, applicable building code requirements, manufacturer requirements, and the schedule approved by the District. The contractor shall furnish and install eight (8) Kalwall pyramid skylights at Amelia Earhart Elementary The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest score justified by procurement code. Pricing must be guaranteed for the entirety of the project. The contract will end after the District and contractor agree the project is satisfactorily completed.
