Question Acceptance Deadline 05/29/2026 12:00 AM EDT Questions are submitted online No DEMOLITION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF NEW EPDM ROOFING SYSTEM Location 1 - ROME CITY HALL - APPROX 15,000 SQUARE FEET 198 N WASHINGTON ST ROME, NY 1344O Location 2 - ROME JUSTICE BUILDING - APPROX 15,000 SQUARE FEET 301 N JAMES ST ROME, NY 1344O o The scope of work for this project involves the demolition of existing roofing systems and reconstruction of new 0.060-inch (60 mil) EPDM Type C roofing systems at various locations throughout the City of Rome, NY. o All new roofing materials and installations must meet or exceed the requirements of the NYS Office of General Services Specifications Section 075323 - ETHYLENE-PROPYLENE-DIENE-MONOMER (EPDM) ROOFING. o All existing roofing materials must be removed completely including but not limited to stone ballast, rubber roofing, insulation, flashing, debris, etc. Existing substrate must be thoroughly cleaned of all debris and foreign materials. o Install insulation board meeting requirements of NYS Building Code. o Install fully adhered new 0.060-inch (60 mil) EPDM Type C roofing system over entire roofing surface including parapet walls. o Work will also include all new metal flashing around parapet walls, roof penetrations, and other locations to prevent drainage issues. o Positive drainage must be maintained with the new roofing system. o Provide manufacturers 20 Year Warranty. o Refer to NYS Office of General Services Specifications Section 075323 - ETHYLENE-PROPYLENE-DIENE-MONOMER (EPDM) ROOFING for details All bids shall be made on forms furnished and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked to the attention of the City Clerk as follows: RFB-2026-007 2026 TORNADO DAMAGED ROOF REPLACEMENT All questions should be directed to: Patrick D.
