Reference Number 0000424889 Questions are submitted online No 1. PROJECT OVERVIEW: The City of Midland is requesting bids for supply and installation of nylon netting system at the Landfill. The contractor will be responsible for all facets of the project as outlined in the project specifications. Work includes but is not limited to the following: installation of poles provided by the City, supply and installation of a 15 tall netting system across 400, and returning the work area to original conditions. The contactor will provide required equipment, material, and labor to perform the work. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: The project shall be completed in accordance with the Invitation to bid document, Special Provisions for Construction, and all addenda. The contractor will determine the appropriate means and methods to perform the project. The point of contact shall approve material and methods of construction. Contractor shall be responsible for the mobilization, maintenance, and operation of all required personnel and equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for disposal of all debris generated from the project at the on-site landfill cell or dumpsters. Contractor shall pay no tipping for disposal. Contractor may provide pricing for optional additional work. Additional work requires supply and installation of 100 increments of additional fabric and fasteners, onto existing poles and cables adjacent to the primary work area. The City and Contractor shall agree in advance on the quantity, if any, of additional 100 increments shall be included at the repair bid pricing.
