Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Ellensburg, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of adding two floating aerators, one to each aeration basin, including anchor cables and associated mounting hardware. Electrical work will include updates to the site power, controls, and telemetry to support the upgrade. The project also requires the supply of four additional spare aerators. The contract duration is forty (40) working days to complete the work. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier’s check or surety bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid proposal amount. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into the contract and supply a satisfactory performance bond within the stated time, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. The City of Ellensburg reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities. The responsibility and competency of bidders and their subcontractors will be considered in making the award. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be given full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The engineer’s range for the project is $2,200,000 to $2,400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
