Renovation of a water / sewer project in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Tarpon Springs, Florida (City), is seeking bids from qualified bidders to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment needed to complete electrical upgrades for the City's Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWWTF), pursuant to all specification, requirements, terms, and conditions herein. This project will be partially funded through a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Agency. A 100% performance bond will be required for this project. See all BID ATTACHMENTS. Main components of the project include but are not limited to: Demolition of existing equipment and temporary power as necessary to keep facilities running. Site work Remodeling, weatherizing and adding climate control to existing building to accommodate new electrical equipment. New Utility and conventional electrical ductbanks. New Utility transformer on raised platform, Contractor responsible for cost of relocation of transformer. New generator and enclosure Fuel transfer system Major electrical equipment to include Automatic transfer system, Main Switchgear and Motor Control Centers, Variable frequency drives. SERVICES SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Description: The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performance of all work included in this Contract for the completion of electrical upgrades for the Citys Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWWTF). This project will be partially funded through a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Agency. The Grantee and all of its agents, including contractors and subcontractors, shall comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to nondiscrimination, wages, social security, workers compensation, licenses, and registration requirements. This includes the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA).
