Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Dayton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Qualification submittal packages shall be submitted via email, as a PDF document no larger than 10 MB, to John Eubanks (jeubanks@metroparks.org) no later than May 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM. he qualification submittals will be reviewed, and three design-build teams will be shortlisted. Those short-listed Design-Build Teams (DBT) will be provided additional program and project details during the Request for Proposal phase of the project. Carriage Hills MetroPark Historic Farm Bridge - the replacement of an existing single-span, timber "A-Frame" bridge (15'-6" + 29'-4" + 15'-4" = 60'-2" total length) supported by combination stone/concrete abutments with a single-span, steel bridge with the same "A-Frame" layout (either structural or aesthetic) to preserve the same historic looking bridge. Taylorsville MetroPark's Great Miami River Trail Bridge #1 - the replacement of a cast-in-place four-sided box culvert (12'-0" x 6'-0") with a precast concrete, foursided box culvert (12'-0" x 6'-0") per ODOT Item 611 Conduit, Type A, 706.05 along with cast-in-place inlet weir walls and (precast/cast-in-place) outlet concrete headwall/wingwall). Taylorsville MetroPark's Great Miami River Trail Bridge #2 - the replacement of a single-span, steel beam bridge (20'-6" span) with concrete deck (including footings) with a precast concrete, four-sided box culvert (size to be determined by DBT) per ODOT Item 611 Conduit, Type A, 706.05 (size to be determined by DBT) including (precast/cast-in-place) inlet/outlet headwall/wingwall. Aullwood Garden MetroPark's Marie Aull Wooden Bridge - the replacement of a single span, timber arch bridge (30'-0" long) supported by combination stone/concrete abutments with a steel beam (ADA compliant & similar arch style) bridge with wood deck and steel rails posts and railings. Monument Avenue, Third Floor, Dayton, Ohio, 45402-1374. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as "Bid for DISTRICTWIDE FARM BRIDGE DESIGN-BUILD REPLACEMENT PROJECT, Bid No. 26-013" and the envelope should bear on the outside the Bidder's name and address. If sent by mail or delivery service, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in an outer envelope addressed to the Bid Manager, Five Rivers MetroParks Main Office, 409 E. Monument Avenue, Third Floor, Dayton, Ohio, 45402-1374. Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the total amount of bid submitted, or a certified check or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the total amount of contract upon contract award. Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract upon contract award. Construction shall commence within ten (10) days after "Notice to Proceed," and shall be substantially completed within 365 days of the Notice to Proceed.
