Sealed bids are sought for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and the complete performance of all work specified in the contract for the construction of the Southwest Greensburg Borough Office ADA Ramp. Proposals will be received for the following prime contract: General Construction. All bidders must contact Ulery Architecture LLC to be included on the bidders list and to obtain bid documents. Bidders must provide company name, contact person, complete address, phone and fax numbers, and email address when requesting documents. Bid documents are available electronically or as hardcopies upon request. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Corporations organized outside Pennsylvania must secure appropriate certificates to conduct business within the Commonwealth. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site. Bidders must attend to inspect the job site and ensure comprehension of the bid documents. Failure to attend may result in rejection of the bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a security deposit in the form of a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent of the bid. A completed non-collusion agreement is also required. Successful bidders must enter into a contract requiring a labor and material payment bond and performance bond of one-hundred percent of the contract sum, and a maintenance bond of ten percent of the contract sum. Southwest Greensburg Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities.
