Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids are requested for the Front Street Stormwater Improvements. Bids must be submitted online through the PennBid electronic procurement program. Bidders must provide Bid Security equal to 10% of the total bid amount, either via certified check or bid bond from a Surety Company licensed in Pennsylvania. Upon award, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract value, must be provided. After completion, a 2-year Maintenance Bond for 100% of the final contract value is required. Compliance with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act is mandatory if the project cost is $25,000 or more. Only the successful bidder is responsible for the PennBid fee, calculated as 1/3% of the initial contract amount for fixed fee contracts or 1/6% for term contracts, with a minimum of $150 and a maximum of $6,000.
