Contract 3/2026 Line Paintings and Markings Contract 4/2026 - The work will consist of the Contractor painting approximately 48,057 linear feet of double yellow traffic lines, 15,115 l.f. of single white/yellow lines, markings for approximately 12 traffic light intersections and 2 railroad crossings in Hempfield Township. The Contractor is advised that the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements will not be required since this project is considered to be maintenance. A certified check payable to the Hempfield Township Supervisors, or a bid bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company, approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a Contract if given the award. No Bid Bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any applicable municipal ordinances. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.
