Sealed proposals will be received online via PennBid for the furnishing of CONTRACT R003-27 Ductile Iron Pipe as follows: Up to 20,000 feet each of six (6) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); eight (8) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); twelve (12) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); sixteen (16) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); twenty (20) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); twenty-four (24) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); thirty (30) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); thirty-six (36) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated); forty-eight (48) inch Class 51 and Class 51 (Zinc Coated); forty-eight (48) inch Class 52 and Class 52 (Zinc Coated). All pipe must meet Build America Buy America (BABA), American Iron and Steel (AIS) and Steel Procurement Act requirements. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Vendor Discussions” tab in Messages on PennBid. Vendors who are awarded contracts are assessed a variable award fee based on the type of contract. Term Contracts Award fee is 1/6% (.00166) of the expected value of the contract for the time period of the awarded contract. The award fee shall be no less than $100 and no greater than $5,000. Prices quoted shall be firm for the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid or any portion of the bid it deems in its best interest.
