Phase 3 – Archery Park & Hardscape Package for Richardson Sportsplex & Outdoor Recreation Park, Town of Walnut, MS, Department of Parks & Recreation. Bid documents must be ordered through the designated website, by registered plan holders only. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate using the provided forms and accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check or acceptable bid bond for at least five percent of the Base Bid. Bids over $50,000 require compliance with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985 and a Certificate of Responsibility. Each bid exceeding $5,000 must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond from an approved surety company, with Power of Attorney for the Mississippi Resident Agent. All Bidders are given full opportunity to submit bids without discrimination. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid and inquire about subcontracting. The contract will be awarded as an entire job, not as separate work. The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and all related regulations and guidelines for federally and state funded projects. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Access to the site will be granted during the Bidding Phase.
