The City of Renton is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified Architectural and Engineering firms to provide professional design and construction support services for a city-wide Facilities Master Planning and Parks Shop Redevelopment Project. The work will support facilities at 1100 Bronson Way North and a newly acquired site at 2940 E Valley Rd, integrating long-term operational, planning, and construction needs across the City's maintenance functions. The objective is to deliver a safe, durable, efficient, and sustainable maintenance facility that meets building codes, supports current and future operational requirements, and allows long-term flexibility for City maintenance operations. The selected consultant will provide comprehensive services, which may include project management and coordination, site evaluation, existing conditions assessment, demolition planning and support, temporary facility planning, design and permitting support to maintain ongoing operations during construction, architectural and engineering design, preparation of design and construction bid documents, construction administration, construction management, and coordination with City staff, stakeholders, and the public as required. Statements of Qualifications should demonstrate the firm's experience, technical expertise, project approach, and capacity to successfully perform the described work. Submittals will be evaluated solely on qualifications, including relevant experience, technical capability on similar projects, project approach and understanding, and qualifications and experience of key personnel. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, waive informalities, cancel or reissue the request, and request additional information from proposers. This request does not obligate the City to award a contract or pay any costs incurred in preparing a response.
