Renovation of a municipal facility in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
There was no one awarded, the bid was dismissed due to pricing. 2.1 ROOF REPLACEMENT The Contractor shall: A. Remove and properly dispose of all existing roofing materials down to the roof deck. B. Inspect existing roof sheathing and replace deteriorated or damaged sheathing as required. C. Re-nail existing roof sheathing using 8d galvanized ring-shank nails. D. Install self-adhering ice and water shield membrane over all roof surfaces. E. Install cedar breather underlayment over membrane. F. Install new Western Red Cedar shingles or approved equal. G. Install cedar shingles with a maximum weather exposure of five and one-half (5.5) inches utilizing a three-ply installation method. H. Use stainless steel fasteners throughout. I. Install cedar ridge caps and all associated trim accessories. J. Inspect all flashing conditions and replace deteriorated flashing as necessary. K. Remove and replace chimney flashing as required. L. Install new copper flashing, counterflashing, valleys, step flashing, drip edges, and related sheet metal work where indicated or required. M. Coordinate roofing details to maintain historic appearance and watertight integrity. Roofing, siding, and painting of new Law Office Building Daniel Webster Law Office Restoration.
