Renovation of a water / sewer project in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Marshfield Water Department Carbon Replacement Bidders are to submit responses based upon the specifications and scope of work as outlined within Attachment A, "Project Description and Specifications." All pricing should be inclusive of all costs associated with providing services as specified. At the time of the opening of bids each bidder will be presumed to have inspected the site and to have read and to be thoroughly familiar with the IFB package (including all addenda ) . The failure or omission of any bidder to examine any form, instrument, or document shall in no way relieve any bidder from any obligation in respect of his/her bid. Question Deadline 08/14/2026 Any clarification of requirements or requests for additional information by bidders must be made via dpwbids@townofmarshfield.org at End of Day The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, and incidentals necessary to perform a complete turnkey exchange of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) for two (2) potable water treatment vessels. Each vessel contains approximately 20,000 pounds of GAC, for a total estimated quantity of 40,000 pounds. Work shall include the removal of spent GAC, inspection of the empty vessels, installation of new virgin GAC, and return of both vessels to service in accordance with the project specifications and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
