Description

Site work for a civil project in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

The City of Prince Rupert Big Infrastructure Gap (BIG) project. The objectives of the project are to replace water infrastructure in failing areas, improve sewer infrastructure by separating storm and sewer utilities, renew related road surfaces and pavement structures, minimize community disruption, issue all construction procurement Packages for bid by March 31, 2027, and complete construction of all design packages by March 31, 2028. TIMELINE: Request for proposal from qualified proponents for design engineering consultant services, is underway. Further update in late summer 2026, upon award.
