Renovation of an educational facility in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work included under this Project consists of renovations of the existing crime lab to a fiber arts studio lab including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Construction to the satisfaction of the University, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the 'Ask a Question' feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted. PennBid provides bid privacy, security and supplier confidentiality, while streamlining the overall procurement process. Although all solicitations are available for public viewing, interested suppliers need to register to be able to submit a bid.
