Site work for a water / sewer project in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Trenchless repair of eight sanitary sewer mains, including traffic control, at the following locations: 15402 Airline Avenue, 7318 Beechwood Drive, 6942 Brookview Drive, 6917 North Valley Drive, 7200 Ridgemont Drive, 4800 74th Street, 3918 125th Street, and 8600 Douglas Avenue. The project includes approximately 12 CIPP point repairs, pre-rehabilitation cleaning and inspection, additional sewer cleaning, removal of protruding service connections, building service reinstatements, and traffic control. All work is to be fully completed by February 26, 2027. Bidders must file sealed proposals, provide a 100% performance bond if awarded, and comply with nondiscrimination and product preference provisions. Monthly partial payments of 97% will be made based on verified estimates; the remaining 3% will be paid according to Iowa law. Bidders must use sales tax exemption certificates for materials, and a preference is given to Iowa-grown products and resident bidders as applicable by law. Failure to submit a fully completed Bidder Status Form may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
